A woman’s body has been found inside a home on Friday night, following a suspected domestic violence incident.
Officers attended reports of a domestic violence on Ellalong St, Kearsley, in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley about 7.30pm.
Police believe the body belonged to a woman aged in her 30s.
She is yet to be formally identified.
It is understood officers arrived to a ‘confronting scene’ at the home on Friday night, before establishing a crime scene and treating the death as suspicious.
Specialist forensics officers, and the state crime command’s homicide squad remained at the scene overnight.
Investigations are ongoing.
No arrests have yet been made, and police remain looking for her believed killer.
It is understood the woman was the only person found at the property when police
