RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- The mother of baby Emmanuel Haro of Southern California on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to murder in the case of her missing 7-month-old son.
Rebecca Haro, of Cabazon, appeared in court Tuesday, but her attorney kept her mostly hidden from cameras.
Earlier this month, the baby's father, Jake Haro, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the case. He also pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm to a child, and filing a false report, a misdemeanor.
Rebecca Haro is set to appear in court again in January for a felony settlement conference.
No new information came to light regarding the whereabouts of the missing baby's body .
Emmanuel was reported missing on Aug. 14. His parents were arrested in connection with the baby's death.
