JEFFERSON COUNTY, OH (WTRF) - Due to tightening budgets at the federal level, as of today, the Urban Mission Ministries homeless shelters in Jefferson County have their doors officially closed and there is no emergency shelter in place to take new intakes.

7 News sat down with local leaders to see what's ahead as winter is edging closer.
