STAR VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) — A bear has been safely relocated after being rescued from a tree in Star Valley.
Around 11 a.m. on Friday, crews from the Hellsgate Fire Department received a call from the Arizona Game & Fish Department and the Gila County Sheriff’s Office asking for help to rescue a bear.
The bear had been tranquilized, and the crews needed help getting it down safely. Thanks to everyone’s help, the bear was safely taken down from the tree. Game and Fish officers are now working to relocate the bear.
Fire crews said the bear will be just fine after it wakes up from its nap.
