The costumes and candy are ready, and kids of all ages are starting to map out their trick or treat routes.

Tait Avenue is a one long-time hot spot in the town of Los Gatos, where unlike many neighborhoods, the trick or treaters start well before the sun goes down.

The people in the neighborhood say they aim for decorations that are “captivating but not scary.” They really want to make sure young kids can enjoy the atmosphere, especially if it’s their first time collecting candy on all Halloween’s eve.
