Cle Morgan found the courage to return to music as a way to navigate the heartbreaking loss of her beloved wife, but she never thought she would be singing her heart out in The Voice grand final.

The 44-year-old Perth-raised, now Melbourne-based star will take to the stage on Sunday for a historic all-female grand final against fellow contestants Alyssa Delpopolo, Bella Parnell and Cassie Henderson.

Morgan’s longevity on the show comes thanks to words of wisdom from her coach and Irish superstar Ronan Keating, who she brought to tears with a heartbreaking story after her audition.

The John Curtin College of the Arts graduate said she’d decided to try out for The Voice to help her deal with the grief she experienced after her wife passed away two and a half years ago.
