WASHINGTON — DC police say they’ve made “multiple arrests” as a result of a chaotic scene in the Navy Yard neighborhood Friday night.

Video recorded by a neighbor in the area shows National Guard soldiers and young people running and shouting in a park.

Police have not identified what kinds of charges the suspects might face, nor have they specified the crimes, citing only “disorderly behavior” in the area of First and M streets, SE.

They’re asking people to avoid the area.

The following streets have been closed as police sort out the situation:

M Street from 1st to 3rd street, SE

New Jersey Avenue south of L Street, SE
