A woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly swore at and assaulted employees at a Market Basket in Tewksbury, police said, before later “intentionally” clogging the toilet in her holding cell.

Kristin A. Hartman, 54, of Tewksbury, was arraigned Tuesday in Lowell District Court where she pleaded not guilty to charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, and operating under the influence of liquor, court records show.

Judge John F. Coffey released Hartman on her own personal recognizance and ordered her to stay away from the Market Basket on Main Street, court filings show.
