Behind two touchdowns and 125 rushing yards from Teegan Carroll, Halifax football on Friday beat Lancaster Catholic 30-14 to set up a District 3 Class 2A semifinal tilt against Steelton-Highspire next week.
Cohen Bechtel added one touchdown off of 89 yards for the the Wildcats. Carroll also logged 23 receiving yards off of three receptions.
Brandon Way scored both touchdowns for the Crusaders in the third quarter, as Lancaster Catholic got on the board in the frame after a scoreless first half. Way finished the game with 92 yards.
Halifax led for the entire game and 17-0 at halftime. Halifax finished with 200 rushing yards to Lancaster Catholic’s 136 yards.
