Nearly 13,000 air traffic controllers working without pay as shutdown enters second month

"We’re on the way to Miami," Omar Baz said, concerned over the timing of his flight on day 31 of the government shutdown. "We got a lot of time on our hands. I’m kind of worried because what’s up with air traffic control? I don’t wanna deal with any delays."
