Patna, Nov 1: Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Saturday said that the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections will witness a triangular contest on nearly 160 to 170 seats.

Speaking at the NDTV Power Play conclave, the former political strategist revealed that his party had announced candidates on all 243 assembly seats, but claimed that four of them were forced to withdraw under "pressure".

Kishor expressed confidence that the Jan Suraaj Party will either secure fewer than 10 seats or win more than 150 in the elections, which are scheduled to be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The counting of votes will take place on November 14.
