WASHINGTON — Some people may be divided on whether the Christmas season begins on Nov. 1 or not until after Thanksgiving, but one person is firmly not: Mariah Carey.
The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer officially flipped the switch into the holiday season at the stroke of midnight on Nov. 1 with her annual video.
This year's video featured a partnership with beauty retailer Sephora and included a guest appearance by actor and comedian Billy Eichner as an angry elf.
Carey has celebrated the turn of the calendar with cheeky videos featuring her chart-topping holiday song since 2019. Last year's video was Addams Family-themed.
The singer's 2025 announcement video comes days after the singer partnered with Bucket Listers to launch holiday-themed pop-up bars in four U.S. cities.
