PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - In the final week of the High School football regular season, Estill County traveled to Prestonsburg.
The Blackcats won, 48-21.
Prestonsburg scored on their first drive of the night, thanks to a 15-yard rushing touchdown by Colin Hatfield.
With 55 seconds remaining in the first quarter, Clay Runyon recovered an Engineer fumble, giving the Blackcats the ball back inside the Estill Co. 30-yard line.
Prestonsburg led, 6-0 going into the second quarter.
That would quickly change.
With 11:41, Kain Patton scored on a 10-yard rushing touchdown.
Patton would follow that up with an approximate 55-yard rushing touchdown.
Estill County eventually got on the board with a five-yard QB keeper by Brody Mainus.
