BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Two women were arrested during a narcotics investigation by agents with the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) Law Enforcement Services Division.

Wednesday morning, Oct. 29, agents executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1600 block of Patton Chapel Road in Hoover.

That search resulted in the seizure of about four pounds of “Flakka” - a synthetics controlled substance, 400 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a “Flakka” manufacturing lab, 200 grams of marijuana, and other contraband.

Agents arrested Crystal Smith and took her to the Jefferson County Jail in Bessemer on charges of unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, three counts of drug trafficking, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
