Even a flicker of nervousness, surely?
After all, at just 36, he’s about to enter the Old Firm mayhem for the very first time.
When he steps into the dug-out at Hampden on Sunday, he’ll look across at a wily old fox.
Martin O’Neill , 37 years his senior with vast experience of this mad, chaotic fixture under his belt.
And Rohl will have to get the better of him at his first attempt.
So the German would have been forgiven for showing some signs of anxiety at his pre-match press conference.
But no. He was as calm and collected as he’s been since he walked through the door at Ibrox 12 days ago.
Not a hair out of place and a beaming smile across his face.
