WASHINGTON STATE - Healthcare open enrollment begins Saturday for Washington residents who do not receive insurance through an employer, spouse or government program.
Residents who apply by December 15 will have coverage starting January 1. Plans selected by January 15 will begin February 1.
This enrollment period is crucial for those who are self-employed, work seasonal or freelance jobs, or do not yet qualify for Medicare. They can shop for health and dental coverage through Washington Healthplanfinder.
Assistance is available in more than 200 languages to ensure everyone can access the help they need.
