Frost Advisories are in effect for the following counties until 9 AM. November 1st: Bertie, Duplin, Edgecombe, Greene, Halifax, Lenoir, Martin, Nash, Pitt, Wayne, and Wilson. Frost could harm or kill sensitive outdoor vegetation or plants if left uncovered.
The frosty start to the day will give way to a sunny day, with highs in the 60s and less wind. Another night of the 30s and 40s is on tap, as some patchy frost could be possible for some inland counties Sunday morning. We will see clouds increase later in the day as a coastal low develops. We can expect periods of light to moderate rain, with the strongest winds along the beaches and sounds. While we are not seeing heavy rain, it will be reflected in the new drought update next Thursday, as well as the rain from late October.
