CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The search for a man who is suspected of murdering his grandmother and stabbing a deputy has stretched into its fourth day.
Dominic Connelly was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt and camo style pants.
He is wanted for killing his grandmother, Patricia Lopedote, at her home outside of Havelock last Saturday, and for stabbing a Craven County deputy who confronted him Wednesday night in Vanceboro.
The sheriff’s office says on Friday, Connelly was seen on a trail camera in the area of 10000 U.S. 17 Highway, Vanceboro.
The search moved into Beaufort County on CC Road after another possible sighting, but Connelly was not located.
