KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - One woman has died in an early-morning shooting, the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department said Saturday.
Officers were called to the area of N 11th Street and Barnett Avenue around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 1 for a reported shooting.
When the officers arrived, they found a woman standing outside a home with an apparent gunshot wound. She was taken to an area hospital where she soon died. Her identity has not yet been released.
KCKPD is investigating her death, but does not yet have a suspect in custody. Anyone with information is asked to contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
