BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that sent two people to the hospital.

Buffalo Police say the shooting happened around 3 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, on Lathrop Street near Broadway, after an alleged fight.

Police say two people were shot and transported to ECMC. One of the victims is currently in critical condition, while the other remains in stable condition.

Detectives say evidence was recovered from the scene, but did not clarify what the evidence was.
