The city of Mount Dora lifted a precautionary boil water notice that was issued after record rainfall and serious flooding damage earlier this week.
The precautionary boil-water notice was lifted Saturday morning following confirmation that all water samples met the necessary safety standards. The city says residents and businesses may now resume normal water use.
The city worked with state and county partners to restore essential services after more than 17 inches of rainfall drenched neighborhoods and collapsed roads last Sunday.
