HAMILTON CITY — Falling behind within the first two minutes of the game didn’t frighten the Hamilton High football team on Halloween night.

Instead, the Braves offense and defense featured tricks and treats to shake off a slow start and score eight unanswered touchdowns to take down Maxwell 56-7 on Friday night at home. Before the game, Hamilton (9-0, 4-0 Mid-Valley League) honored its 19 seniors.

“Us seniors have been looking forward to this game the last two weeks as we had a bye last week,” said Hamilton quarterback Kayden Strong. “Them scoring first on that one pass … after that we were just locked in. We knew we wanted this game for our seniors.”
