Sunnyvale senior Tyrus Cowan has enjoyed plenty of big moments during his high school career, both in cross country and track and field.

Entering his senior season, Cowan was hoping to save the best for last. However, an injury derailed some of those plans for much of the fall, leaving the immediate future in doubt.
