BOSSIER CITY, La. — Big changes are coming to Bossier's City Hall and you’ll soon see -- and hear -- the difference.
After the Dec. 16 meeting, Bossier City Council Chambers will shut down for a full modernization -- a top-to-bottom facelift that officials say will finally bring 1990s-era technology into the streaming age.
Viewers who tune in from home will get crystal-clear sound, high-definition video, and new on-screen displays showing votes, agendas, and public comments in real time. Inside the building, the city is adding upgraded security systems and extra parking for residents who attend in person.
“More people watch these meetings online than ever before,” one councilmember said. “We want them to see and hear what’s going on without missing a word.”
