FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arvest Bank is offering assistance to customers affected by the federal government shutdown.

Through its Arvest Assist program, originally launched during the 2018-2019 shutdown, the bank is offering accommodations for customers experiencing paycheck disruptions.

Arvest is also providing a Disaster Relief Loan Program through Nov. 21, offering loans from $500 to $10,000 with no payments due for the first 120 days (interest accrues during this period). The program is available to new and existing customers in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
