It has been announced Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew , will depart his home of more than 20 years, Royal Lodge , for "alternative private accommodation".
An official statement from Buckingham Palace confirmed King Charles has initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles and honours of Prince Andrew, and has also taken steps to remove Andrew from his home.
"Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation," the statement said.
While the palace did not publicly confirm where Andrew will relocate, it is understood he will move to a property on the private Sandringham estate, where he will live at no cost to the British public.
