MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A surface ridge of high pressure over southern Wisconsin has led to clear skies and calm winds, causing temperatures to drop to dew points. Dense fog has developed, particularly in south-central and southwest Wisconsin where temperatures have dropped below freezing. With this, a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 8 AM this morning. As temperatures have fallen below freezing, there may also be some isolated slick spots in areas of fog, especially on elevated surfaces. Fog will dissipate after sunrise.
