CHARLESTON, S.C. (WIS) - Footage obtained by WIS now shows the moments of an incident involving US Rep. Nancy Mace and police at Charleston International Airport.
According to police reports received through a Freedom of Information Act request, the incident happened on Oct. 30 as Mace, who is also running for South Carolina governor, arrived at the airport.
Airport police officers were reportedly told to look for a white BMW that the congresswoman would be arriving in so that they could escort her to her gate. Police were also reportedly told she would be running a few minutes late.
After nearly an hour, the officers reportedly got word that Mace had arrived and was at the TSA gate. They also reported never seeing a white BMW.
