Few would argue that the Pittsburgh Steelers are in need of an upgrade at wide receiver.
Aside from star wideout DK Metcalf, who has 27 catches on 43 targets for 461 yards and five touchdowns, no other Steelers WR has more than 14 receptions, 167 yards or three touchdowns.
In fact, two of Pittsburgh’s top three leading receivers, and three of its top five, are tight ends or running backs.
So with just a few days before the NFL ’s Nov. 4 trade deadline, it’s no surprise the team has been calling around and checking in on some of the biggest wide receiver names available.
On Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport named a few players the Steelers reportedly have interest in, including one of the best, young pass-catchers in the NFL — Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle.
