Chilly today, but as we head into the new week, a warming trend is expected.
The light showers that moved across the Tennessee Valley this morning are starting to shift off to the east, leaving us with cloud cover. As we inch closer to the afternoon, expect to see pockets of sunshine, with highs only reaching the mid-50s.
Monday morning will be cold, with out-the-door temperatures in the upper 30s. Patchy frost will be possible, but any widespread frost is not expected at this time. Highs will warm into the low 60s, with plenty of sunshine heading our way.
We’ll continue to warm gradually throughout the work week. By Wednesday, highs will reach near 70, and overnight lows will rise into the mid-40s. Rain chances should hold off until Friday. SUNDAY: Isolated showers early, trending drie
