Police asked for the public's help to locate a missing teen girl who was last seen on the evening of Nov. 1.
Yolyn Hermios, 16, was last seen around 6:50 p.m. near Dobson and Broadway roads in west Mesa, the Mesa Police Department posted on social media and in a Turquoise Alert sent overnight to cell phones.
Hermios was last seen wearing a black shirt, red shorts and black shoes, according to police.
She is a Pacific Islander, stands at 4 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Hermios should call 911.
What is a Turquoise Alert?
A Turquoise Alert is deployed when a person goes missing under unexplained or suspicious circumstances and is believed to be endangered, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
