A chunk of westbound Interstate 94 in southern Macomb County will have lane restrictions this week so emergency repairs can continue to be made to the Frazho Road bridge, state transportation officials said last week.

Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) said the closure is due to a crash involving a semi-truck tractor with a boom lift that struck and damaged the Frazho overpass in September.

The restrictions will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6 and last through noon Thursday, Nov. 13. Westbound I-94 near Frazho, west of I-696, will have two right lanes closed for bridge repair, leaving the two left lanes open to traffic.
