CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people have died after a Sunday afternoon shooting on Oakwood Road in north Charlotte.
Around 2:30 p.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, Medic found two patients who had died as a result of the shooting.

At the scene, CMPD said the two victims were males. As of publication, they have not been publicly identified.
While officials say the incident appears to have been isolated - they say it's still a tragic reminder of how quickly tensions can turn deadly.
