MITCHELL COUNTY, N.C. — An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 15-year-old girl from Mitchell County, according to the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Neveah H. Patton is a white female, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

Authorities have not released information about a possible abductor or vehicle connected to her disappearance.

Anyone who sees Patton or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office at 828-688-9110 or call 911.

Investigators are using a drone to search the area where she went missing. The FBI is also now involved in the search.
