MITCHELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a Mitchell County teen.

The sheriff's office reports that 15-year-old Neveah Hope Patton was last seen on Harrell Road in Bakersville, North Carolina, Saturday night around 10 p.m. Officials believe she left in a vehicle.

She's 5'9, 140 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes. Patton has pink and red highlights in her hair.

There is no abductor or vehicle information at this time.

Law enforcement is on the ground searching around Patton's last known location.
