FOXBOROUGH — After being beaten for a 40-yard reception, Patriots All-Pro Christian Gonzalez left the field with an injury.
He immediately went into the blue medical tent. The Patriots announced that he was questionable to return with a head injury.
Gonzalez led the Patriots with seven tackles and three passes defended before the injury.
Gonzalez missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury. Entering the game the Patriots were 1-2 without him in the lineup and 5-0 with him. New England led 24-14 when he exited the game.
He was the third player injured in the game for the Patriots. Kayshon Boutte and Christian Elliss each left with injuries and were ruled out.
