With less than 48 hours until Election Day, Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican nominee in this year’s gubernatorial election, is going to pedal to the metal as his bus tour of the Garden State made stops in Monmouth County.

Ciattarelli spent about 15 minutes addressing a crowd of more than 150 people on the afternoon of Nov. 2 and then another 45 taking pictures with everyone that wanted one.

The Hazlet event was in a parking lot "more than 200 feet but not much more," from an early in-person voting location, said Ciattarelli campaign manager Eric Arpert.

Joined by local elected officials as well as the chair of the Republican National Committee, Joe Gruters, Ciattarelli delivered what has become his standard stump speech.

He took shots at his Democratic opponent, Rep. Mikie Sherrill,
