The last time these two teams met, the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in AFC championship game in Kansas City on Jan. 26. Sunday's Week 9 game was expected to weigh heavily in the AFC playoff race over the next two months, especially given tiebreaker implications.
In the end, Buffalo survived a frantic late push by the Chiefs to win 28-21.
