BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Marketplace open enrollment is an option available to Americans who don't receive healthcare through their employers and are not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare can seek health coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Open enrollment opened on November 1 and will remain open through January 15, 2026. “This year, we are encouraging individuals to log into their Marketplace account shortly after November 1 to complete their application for 2026,” said Lindsey Karlson, Director of Programs and Training at the Community HealthCare Association of the Dakotas, in a press release. “We anticipate that there will be changes to advanced premium tax credits compared to 2025. Logging in early gives people time to review those changes and select a plan.”
