CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A dog was rescued Saturday after it was trapped inside a house that caught fire in Clearwater.
According to a release, at 6:42 a.m. Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a house fire on Barbara Avenue.

Crew members treated the dog by giving it oxygen before Clearwater police rushed the animal to an emergency veterinarian for further treatment.
The dog, named Bandit, is expected to make a full recovery.
