BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) -- The lanes were full of friendly competition Sunday as WZND Fuzed Radio, Illinois State University’s student-run radio station, hosted its 39th Annual Turkey Bowl at Pheasant Lanes Family Fun Center in Bloomington.

The annual event brings together local media professionals from across central Illinois for an afternoon of bowling, food, and fun, all while raising money for the ISU Child Care Center.

Eleven teams took part this year, representing outlets like WMBD, WYZZ, WEEK-TV, Heart of Illinois ABC, 25 News, WGLT, Radio Bloomington, Great Plains Media, TV-10, The Vidette, and The Pantagraph.

Each team competed in three games, including one round of “Crazy Bowl.”
