MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Morgantown Board of Parks and Recreation (BOPARC) held its Fall Fest on Sunday afternoon at the newly renovated Morgantown Ice Arena.
The free event offered ice skating, games, crafts, giveaways and snacks for everyone. Games were held both on the ice and in the arena's various locker rooms. Some of the activities included four corners and bowling.
BOPARC wanted to be able to celebrate the fall season with an opportunity for the Morgantown community to be able to come together and have a little fun.
Greg Travinski, the division Director of Athletics, Programs and Community Facilities with BOPARC, spoke with 12 News about the importance of offering free activities for his community.
