MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society kicked off national model railroad month with an open house to show the progress of three of their active displays.
The society has been working on these displays for more than four years, and with as much detail and accuracy as these projects take, the end is not yet in sight.
Made to accurately portray West Virginia in the 1970’s, members of the society are hoping to preserve the history of railroads in the mountain state.
