LUBBOCK, Texas (TTU) - The Texas Tech Lady Raiders open their season with a game against the North Carolina A&T Aggies on Monday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. in the United Supermarkets Arena. This contest marks the first meeting between both teams.
Texas Tech is one of the most experienced teams in the country - totaling 831 games played and 18,204 minutes played among the players. The Lady Raiders, who boast 11 upperclassmen and nine seniors out of 12 on the roster, are only second among Power 4 schools in total minutes played and games played with TCU leading with 906 games and 19,930 minutes played. Texas Tech is ahead of the third-ranked P4 team in Clemson by over 1,000 minutes as the Tigers tally 17,734. SMU, a team Tech faces on Nov. 13, is third in games played with 810.
