LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Monday morning will be one of the coolest of the fall so far, though we have plenty of nice afternoons in the forecast.
As we head out the door Monday morning, we’ll see lows drop down to the low 40’s near I-10 with even chillier weather north where there should be less wind. This means upper 30’s will be possible at sunrise particularly near and north of Highway 190. Grab the jacket as you head out!
We should be a bit too “warm” for frost for most areas. If anyone were to see some light frost, interior Beauregard and Allen parishes would have the best shot and maybe near DeQuincy as well.
Tuesday morning looks chilly as well but high temperatures will climb later this week. Highs will remain in the low 70’s through Tuesday before climbing near or over 80 degr
