LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Make sure to grab the jacket and the coat as you step out the door on this Monday morning as some of the coolest temperatures this fall season have arrived.
High pressure is remaining in place and keeping ample amounts of sunshine in play.
Temperatures will warm as we go throughout the afternoon with most areas returning to the lower 70s.
Winds will slowly begin to turn more easterly as we go throughout the middle half of the work week and that will first bring changes to our morning lows.
We’ll trade the 40s for the upper 50s and even lower 60s by the latter half of the work week as moisture begins to return.
Rain chances will remain fairly minimal though as our systems remain on the weaker side with the next true front not really arriving until the weekend
