The high school football playoffs in Georgia are ready to kickoff and there are 10 teams from the Greater Savannah area competing.
There is a bye week in the Georgia High School Association postseason before games get started on Friday, Nov. 14.
There are three local teams that will host in the first round of the GHSA playoffs.
Benedictine, the Region 1-4A champion, is set to host East Forsyth at Memorial Stadium on Nov. 14.
In Class 5A, Effingham County is a No. 2 seed and the Rebels will host Clarke Central on Nov. 14.
In Class 3A, Jenkins, the Region 3-3A champion, earned a No. 5 ranking in the GHSA Postseason Power Rankings, which rank teams from one to 32. The Warriors are set to host Whitewater on Friday, Nov. 14, at Groves Stadium.
