OBETZ, Ohio — It was a productive day for Northeast Ohio at the OHSAA cross country championships, with the boys teams from both Lexington and Woodridge earning state titles in their respective divisions.

It was the third team championship for the Minutemen, who ran away with the Division II crown Saturday at Fortress Obetz with 110 points — 81 ahead of second-place Bowling Green (lowest score wins). Senior Latrell Hughes led the way by placing ninth out of 215 individual runners in the 5K, followed by Lincoln Rice (15th), Will Hooper (35th), Luke Haring (53rd), and Christian Estep (70th).
