While the extra hour of sleep was nice, watching the sun set at 5:15 wasn’t as fun. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait over 100 days before we experience a sunset after 6 p.m. again.

Despite flipping the calendar to November, temperatures are set to heat up rather than cool down for winter. Well-above-average temps are forecast for nearly every day this week.

Monday will serve as our big transition day. Highs will climb into the 60s, roughly ten degrees warmer than today, with light winds from the south.

You’ll really start to feel the warm-up come Tuesday. Thanks to strong, gusty winds, thermometers will skyrocket into the 70s. We’ll hold steady at that level through the rest of the week.
