LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – As part of a community walk, participants toured an exhibition honoring Emmett Till and his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center on Sunday.

The exhibit, Emmett Till & Mamie Till-Mobley: Let the World See, explores the life and legacy of Till, a 14-year-old boy who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955, and his mother’s determination to seek justice.

“The Let the World See exhibit is a wonderful way to make sure that everybody remembers the resilience of a mom, the courage of a mom, and the refusal to allow her son's story to be silent,” Key Fletcher, director of the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center said.

The exhibit is free and open to the public and will run through early January.
